• Our breeding is based on German bloodlines. The German system of licensing and performance testing, excels in producing modern refined sports horses.

Tramontana Stud breeds and produces quality Hanoverian dressage horses. We offer a full range of services from foaling, AI, youngstock and mare livery.

The stud is owned by Peter and Nicole Nelson. Nicole Nelson is an experienced veterinary surgeon who works under her maiden name of Nicole Jones. She predominately works in racing and has a keen interest in dressage horses.

Tramontana Stud also offers sports horse rehabilitation. The combination of an on-site vet, excellent communication with local vets and physiotherapists and a thorough understanding of equine biomechanics produces good results.
