Grey Flanell becomes a sensation:

Grey Flanell became the 2014 Oldenburg main premium winner, a prestigious award bestowed on the 4-year old stallion with the best results and foal crop according to the Oldenburg breed society.

There are several factors that play a decisive role in the decision for awarding a main premium: the stallion's development in sport, his results at the stallion performance test and above all the quality of his first offspring at the inspections.

Grey Flanell was already highly praised when he was licensed in Vechta in 2013 and was sold at auction to Gestüt Bonhomme. He drew a lot of attention when he finished fourth in the Pavo Cup in the Netherlands for 4-year olds as the best performing stallion.

Grey Flanell's first crop of foals was phenomenal. Nine of his foals were admitted to the 2014 Elite Auction in Vechta and every single one changed hands for five-digit sums.

Fürstenball the Champion

Oldenburg Licensing champion by Furst Heinrich x Donnerhall x Classiker. Undisputed winner of the 70-day Stallion performance test and sire to many top selling auction foals. One of the most wanted dressage stallions in Europe!

Fürstenball is a winner in every respect: after selling for the record price of 120,000 euro at the Vechta Foal auction in 2006, he was Oldenburg licensing champion in Vechta two years later and the winner of the 70-day Stallion Performance Test in 2009 with the highest overall and dressage index. In fact, none of the other stallions came anywhere close to Fürstenball's excellent dressage index of 154.98 points. He was awarded a score of 9.0 and higher at least 16 times and he also received the highest score for rideability. He was proclaimed Hauptpremium Sieger in Oldenburg as a 4-year old with the best first crop of foals and Performance Test results.

Fürstenball is descended from Oldenburg "champion bloodlines" which have produced two champion stallions in succession (Sieger Hit, Fürstenball) as well as the second reserve champion Hot Spot in 2009.

Fürstenball also boasts three state premium mares with elite status in his pedigree alongside Fürst Heinrich, the unforgettable winner of the World Championship of Five Year-Old Dressage Horses. He is also inbred to legendary dressage sire, Donnerhall, who adds an even higher concentration of performance genes to his pedigree.

Classiker by Calypso II's genes and Nevado xx's thoroughbred blood add the final refining touch.

Fürstenball at the 70-day Stallion Performance Test

Fürstenball's first crop of foals lived up to the expectations. At the 2010 Oldenburg Elite Foal auction, the price highlight of the auction was Feuerball (by Fürstenball x Akzenta (Akzent I)).

In 2011 Fürstenball sired the Dressage Filly Champion in Denmark and the Dressage Colt Champion in Germany out of all warmblood breeds in the entire country of Germany. The champion colt scored 98 points at the Nationals in Lienen which is the highest score ever achieved by a foal Fürstenball is an absolutely stunning champion stallion. His offspring are clearly stamped by the sire with beautiful faces, are highly noble and have the most amazing characters. He passes on great, clear 4-beat walk, uphill canter and an elastic trot. His offspring is known for being gentle, kind and well tempered.

Fürstenball has a dressage index of 170 and already has 30 licensed offspring. In 2014 he sired the Oldenburg AND Hanoverian Elite Mare Champions.

He was a finalist at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden and won the Bundeschampionate as a 5-year old. The stallion is now being prepared for the 2015 Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifiers for the German Developing Prix St Georges horses.
